Gorinchem – Easyfairs is launching the latest event for the private two-wheeler enthusiast in the Netherlands, World on Wheels. The event will take place on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September 2023 at Evenementenhal Gorinchem. Here, sporty and recreational cyclists can test a wide range of two-wheelers on an outdoor track of no less than 1.5 kilometres, such as e-bikes, sport bikes, cargo bikes, e-scooters and e-steps. Furthermore, they can find various suppliers in terms of clothing, accessories and parts suitable for their use, among others. World on Wheels takes place alongside trade fair Velovak, which for years has been the landmark event for professionals in the two-wheeler industry in autumn.
After the last edition of Velovak in September 2022, fair organiser Easyfairs announced all its ambitions that the two-wheeler event will open its doors to enthusiasts in 2023. “In September, bike and scooter enthusiasts will be welcome for two days at World on Wheels which will be set up as an independent event.”
“At World on Wheels, you will explore the latest trends in two-wheelers, clothing, accessories, gadgets and two-wheeler-related activities. Of course, together with shows, demonstrations, presentations, well catered catering and lots of fun. In short, a fun day out for everyone who likes to get out and about on a bicycle or other two-wheeler,” says Mascha de Bruin on behalf of Easyfairs. Fans can also ride a beautiful route in the Alblasserwaard along historic fortified towns such as Gorinchem, Woudrichem and Zaltbommel on these two days.
As a sporty cyclist, your road or mountain bike should be in top condition. As a recreational cyclist, you enjoy a long tour on the Dutch cycling roads through a beautiful piece of nature. The bakfiets of mums and dads needs to be in perfect condition to take the kids to school. At World on Wheels, you will get your fill of the latest models and inspiration for a nice tour or a sporty race. Here you will discover the latest bikes but also useful tools to keep them in top condition. Here you will meet many suppliers, see demos, test your bike and end the day with a beer in the bicycle café.
Either sporty, recreational, adventurous and functional cyclists as well as e-scooter enthusiasts can visit World on Wheels to be surprised by well-known and lesser-known brands. Premier bike, scooter and scooter brands at World on Wheels include Muon e-bikes, Huyser Fietsen, Velo de Ville, Advanced Ebike, Vogue Bikes, AGM Bike, Fantic Nedeland, Horwin, Urbmob, Jeep and Xiaomi.
World on Wheels will take place on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September 2023 and will partly take place alongside the Velovak trade fair, which has existed for five years. This is the trade fair for the specialist trade, focusing on innovation and craftsmanship.
Trade fair Velovak focuses on the professional from the two-wheeler industry and provides a platform for networking, discovering trends and developments and making purchases. These will also remain the pillars in 2023, with professionals attending the combination day on Sunday 17 September or the exclusive trade day on Monday 18 September. An exclusive B2B area will also be open on Sunday 17 September, where bike and scooter shop owners will find all the ingredients to make their shop a successful business.
A small sneak preview of the event can already be seen on this new website www.world-on-wheels.nl and consumers can register to stay informed about the latest updates.
The new consumer two-wheeler event, World on Wheels, can be visited on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September 2023 from 10.00 to 17.00 at Evenementenhal Gorinchem.
