GORINCHEM \u2013 D<\/b><\/span><\/span>uring the press conference of 24 June t<\/b>he Dutch government has announced that also trade fairs are allowed to continue from the 1st July . This means that the Benelux trade event for the two-wheeler industry, V\u00e9lovak, that will take place on 27, 28 and 29 September 2020 at Evenementenhal Gorinchem (The Netherlands), gets the green light from the Dutch government now as well. During the press conference was announced that, as long as <\/b>people<\/b><\/span> can keep 1.5 meter distance from <\/b>each other<\/b><\/span>, there is no maximum of visitors applied to gatherings.\u00a0 V\u00e9lovak can and will meet necessary measures.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201cWith the green light from the Dutch government we are going to organise a trade fair in September that will give a significant impulse to the commercial and innovative development of the bicycle and scooter industry. We have all one and a half meters protocols ready and together with the municipal of Gorinchem, we have made all preparations to guarantee the one and a half meters distance for the event V\u00e9lovak” explains <\/span>Mascha de Bruin on behalf of V\u00e9lovak.<\/span><\/p>\n

De Bruin: \u201cWe also feel supported by the earlier positive feedback from the exhibitors, as well as the visitors. The main conclusion of the conversations with visitors we can make is that they are ready for a physical moment of contact again. This is also the conclusion from several surveys among visitors of trade fairs, in which we can say that the confidence rises substantially after the relaxations of the corona measures. This confidence has also been expressed by exhibitors that confirmed their participation during these busy times, such as PBG 2Wheel \u2013 Continental, van Doleweerd, Veloe cycles and Cleamate. The condition on organising gatherings without a maximum of visitors, is that visitors are being asked whether they experience symptoms of Covid-19 prior to entering the event hall. Visitors also need to register prior to visiting the event, something that was already applied for V\u00e9lovak. De Bruin: \u201cAs soon as the visitors are in the hall, they can walk around freely. We naturally apply the one and a half meters distance everywhere at V\u00e9lovak. There is also the possibility to connect with each other in the hall as well as outside of the hall. Furthermore, we also take extra hygiene measures, including extra cleaning of the sanitary and at several locations you can find disinfection stations.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe new Smart Badge technology that will be applied at all Easyfairs shows, made it already possible to scan information at the stands of the exhibitors with no physical contact needed and will get a more important role now. This badge provides a digital alternative for shaking hands or exchanging business cards. After the visit of the trade fair the visitor will receive an e-mail with a complete overview of the exhibitors he or she scanned.
