GORINCHEM \u2013 With the launch of the new corporate identity, the trade event Velovak takes
\nthe next step. In the new, modern identity with an urban look, it is even easier to see what
\ntype of two-wheeler applications can be found at Velovak. The leading purchasing,
\nnetworking and knowledge event for the two-wheeler industry will expand with cargo(bikes)
\nand technical workshops. With topics such as last mile delivery and the connected bike, it is
\nalso a trade event for public authorities and service providers in the delivery, leasing, rental
\nand sharing industries. The fifth edition of Velovak will be held on 18, 19 and 20 September
\n2022 in Evenementenhal Gorinchem, The Netherlands.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

“Whether you are an entrepreneur, working in a two-wheeler shop, in a sports specialist shop or for a
\ncompany that uses two-wheelers for business purposes, there is a suitable programme and offer for every
\nprofessional.” says Mascha de Bruin on behalf of Velovak. The bicycle and scooter mechanics of the
\nBenelux can brush up their technical knowledge for the first time at various short workshops in Velovak’s
\nWorkshop. BAFANG and MAGURA have already confirmed that they will provide several training

New this year is the Velovak Academy, with a special knowledge programme for public authorities and
\nservice providers on Tuesday 20 September. On Sunday and Monday, the knowledge and inspiration
\nsessions are aimed at the bicycle and scooter retailers of the Benelux. Roel Peerenboom of Peerenboom
\nFietsen is the first speaker we are announcing! He will give two inspiration sessions on how you can offer
\nadded value with your shop and how you can stand out from the competition. OOMT is also part of the
\nprogramme with the theme strategic staff policy for developing and retaining your staff. During Velovak,
\nyou can also ride a bike yourself during the indoor racing championship, powered by exhibitor Wahoo.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Mascha continues: “Last year, for the first time, we had the Test Course, the Sports Caf\u00e9 and the Start-up
\nSquare. All three are coming back, but now even better and bigger! In September, you can test the latest
\nbicycles, mopeds, scooters and everything in between from various stands on the Test Course. In the Sport
\nCaf\u00e9 de Demarrage none other than Jim van den Berg of Cyclinglab and Join trainingapp will give
\ninspiring sessions about bikefitting, nutrition and training. For the second year in a row, the Start-up
\nSquare will be part of Velovak. Last year, for example, the world’s first wireless charging tile, the first
\nhydrogen-powered bicycle and cargo bike, and the fastest-charging e-bike in the world were on display at

Also this year, the trade magazine and main media partner Tweewieler will organise the ‘Tweewielerwinkel
\nvan het Jaar’ election during Velovak. On Monday the 19th of September, the winners of this election will
\nbe announced. All visitors are welcome during this festive ceremony. “Also, on Sunday and Tuesday we
\nwill throw a party! At the end of both exhibition days we close up with a happy hour.”
